The show
THE SUMMER SHOW is an eleven month season that ends in five days of fair at the Majestic Cinéma in Douala. Concours, tournaments, exhibition and stage.
Where the name comes from
The project first ran as BIG 3REE, then as Summer Show SS2027. Same team, same project, brought together since under a single identity: THE SUMMER SHOW.
The 2024 edition, called The Last Dance, ran in Douala around four categories: rap, singing, dance and fashion. The SS2027 season is the fifth edition, after four already staged since 2021, one of them entirely charitable.
The format
The season starts in September 2026 and ends in July 2027. The casting is in February, the candidates are filmed from March to June, the two sports tournaments run in June, a day each, and the fair is in July.
The fair occupies one site, the Majestic Cinéma, for five days. Four days of exhibitors, stands and stage, then a fifth day of Grand Final and Summer Care Day.
Every concours follows the same route: casting, online vote, quarter finals, semi finals, final. The rap, singing and dance finals are played on the fifth night of the fair. The two tournaments are settled in June instead: a day each, first match to final.
